Located in the West Village, Goldcrest Post opened its doors to the New York film community in 2000. Goldcrest quickly became known as a filmmaker friendly, technically innovative facility, and has developed the services to include Digital Intermediates, 3D Feature and Television and Audio post-production finishing.
Goldcrest has built a sterling reputation as a go-to creative boutique offering its filmmaker and television content creator clients every service and expertise needed to create world-class theatrical or broadcast deliverables.
Goldcrest also hosts a 2K/35mm screening room and 28 offline suites.

Goldcrest provides Film Scanning with automated dust-busting on the Arriscan with Kodak's Digital ICE technology, elegant 2K Digital Intermediate/Red Finishing on three Quantel Pablo Color systems sharing media with Genepool. Our larger Digital Intermediate theatre utilizes an NEC800C DCI compliant 2K digital projector for 2D or 3D finishing. 3D editing, depth and color grading are offered to either large screen projection, or as appropriate to large screen television displays using either 3D active or passive glasses.
28 offline rooms offer Avid or Final Cut Pro as stand-alone or Unity systems. A full complement of HD and SD decks are available for ingest and creation of Feature/Broadcast deliverables.
Audio
Goldcrest's comprehensive audio services, including Sound Editorial and Design, Foley and ADR Recording, Television and Theatrical mixing, provide everything a film or television show could ever need. Theatre A, our largest 5.1 Mix theatre, is powered by an ICON console and is Dolby certified for Printmastering. Theatre B is our primary Television 5.1 Mix Suite and the Foley/ADR Stage serves to complement our Audio services. ISDN and Source Connect capabilities of the ADR stage allows our clients to work with geographically remote talent.
