Colorist

John works to bring the best picture quality to the projects on which he is hired. In the years John has given to the Post Industry, he helped found Tape House. There he convinced his partners to invest in the east coast’s first Rank Cintel machine, which revolutionized imaging technology in the film and television communities.

John completed final color work with such filmmakers as Gus Van Sant, Jim Jarmusch, Robert Altman, Ed Burns, the Coen Brothers, Takeshi Kitano, John Cameron Mitchell, Mira Nair, Todd Solondz, Julian Schnabel, John Sayles, James Ivory, Woody Allen, and Ken Burns.

John has recently completed final color on Ken Burns’ as yet to be released “The Parks” about the U.S. National Parks system.

Outside of work John is an enthusiastic traveler and has kayaked around Manhattan.
